please help. God.

Well if any of you do read this, it'd be a massive favour to me if you'd pray about it for me.

I need to somehow get Saturday the 19th and Sunday the 20th of August off from work. The reason is my parents have been planning a trip in Malaysia, and they'd like me to be there, but I can't really go without getting those two days of. And if I don't go on this trip, I probably won't be seeing my parents for at least a year.

So here's a request to you: please pray that those two days will come through for me.
God, please help it happen.

A good day today...

Well, firstly I should talk about Tuesday.
For the first time I worked in Kikuna, which is two stations away from Tsunashima. This Nova branch has had only one permanent staff because the customers are few, and the station is also pretty small. Anyway, there's this new guy that's just come: WAIT! READ THIS! His name is Sword Shaw Crocker Jr. And could I be smart enough to make this up?? His first name is Sword. But he's a cool guy, from New Jersey in America, wherever that is...me and my uneducatedness. He's going to work in Kikuna soon, so he needs to train at Tsunashima first.

ANYWAY...I worked at Kikuna. It was great. They've got a fair amount of kids...so I taught two classes of kids that I've never taught before, one a kinder (4-6) and senior (10-12) class. Both classes went absolutely crazy. I think I like to play with kids more than teach them, so I just let 'em run over me, AS LONG as the homework is done...coz apparently kids' parents sometimes complain if they're not given homework. In my kinder class, there was a little girl named Haruka. Why is every kid named Haruka the CUTEST kid I've ever seen. There's one in the kindergarten I teach every Monday, and this time in Kikuna....cute as. If my eyes could take pictures... I've seriously been wishing this more and more. Don't you wish your eyes could take pictures?? Ok...so that was a good day.

And now it's Thursday, except its like Wednesday night. We celebrated Sword's birthday tonight; Simon, Bruce, Thomas, Sword and I. We met him at Tsunashima station, and he had already had a fair few drinks at home before meeting us. We went to this new izakaya. There were some questionable things that were done that I don't need to write here. Let me just tell you that I've never really seen a Japanese person working in service be so angry and 'rude', but obviously not without reason. So I was pretty ready to leave that place. Anyway after that whole escapade, we walked about 30 minutes past home to this 24-hour Billiard Garage. I haven't played pool in ages, but I got thoroughly smashed in my first game against Simon. He's good. Even better, considering he was intoxicated. Anyway, I'm crap at pool, just crap. I never want to play again....hahaha

BUT! I had the joy of playing foosball!! They had some miniature foosball table so I played about 5 games with Thomas, all ones that he fielded with 200Y per game. For 5 goals!!! Rip-off...but it was so good playing again. And thrashing again. I want to play foosball all over again!

Ok, so that was my day. Its Thursday, I've got a Japanese lesson in about 8.5 hours, and I dunno if I've told you before...but Kit-Kats are awesome, and so is dark chocolate. And I've found dark chocolate Kit-Kats!!!!!

That's it.

Keeping it real...

DOTA sucks. Hahahaha...actually I suck. But lag also sucks. I think I've ruined every game I've played so far (2). Funnily enough, I managed to be on the winning team the first time. But after this second time, I don't think I'll be playing much online. The lag is just ridiculous, so I just end up giving one team a serious disadvantage. Anyway enough of that.

I MIGHT be going to Malaysia. I really really really hope I get the days off to go to Malaysia. Otherwise it might be a good year before I actually see my parents. This'd be a great vacation if I can actually get it off. It'd be almost 10 whole days on vacation.

I've also started reading Sherlock Holmes, by Arthur Conan Doyle. It's kinda weird because I remember reading Sherlock Holmes stories when I was younger. But now that I'm reading them, the language is pretty olden English and tough. I must've read an abridged or modified version. The book isn't really an easy read. But its a good read.

The Japanese lessons are coming along. I learnt how to say when things start and end, open and close (kara, made) and how far it is from one place to the next. My last lesson was about the different days of the month. Like we say 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and so on. In Japanese, days 1-10, 14, 20 and 24 have different words to the normal other numbers. Its kinda hard to remember that. But the worst thing to deal with is numbers. So I've taken to counting when I'm walking home. All the way from 1-230 the other day. My throat is so dry by the time I get home...

Oh, one more recent development. I think I might be getting addicted...to coffee.
