Endings...and other TV shows

I just watched the last episode of The O.C. season 3. Really sad. But it definitely does the job by enticing us back for more. The ending was a little bit predictable, but all the same still shocking.

I also watched the end of Prison Break season 1. Now that's a quality show. But its almost expected that there'll be something unexpected at season ends, so it doesn't become such a surprise anymore. Prison Break is probably one of those shows that might frustrate certain people, because there's never anything that's fully successfully done. Anyway, I'll definitely be watching the second season.

Some other shows that are worth mentioning are My Name is Earl. Just watched the last episode of that (24), ending quite nicely, comedic closure. And another great comedy is How I Met Your Mother, which seriously ended SOO sadly. It was a very nice touch in my mind, but really saddening. The show is being continued on with a second season, so if you're interested, you should go watch/download it.

Invasion's a good show that I've been watching. Haven't finished watching to the end of the season (22), but I've already read reports that its not being continued so it kinda sucks. Another show I was watching was Surface, which is showing in Australia I think. Anyway, its not being continued either, and because both of those shows thrive on revealing little surprises along the way and making us wonder lots of things (like Lost), the fact that they're not being continued makes me not even want to finish watching Invasion.

Anyone wanna recommend good TV shows?

INTERNET!!! Cheerleaders, and sad things

The days of the laundry, bad back, bringing power packs, chairs, mice and mousepads to and fro are gone. I am now staying in my room forever and never coming out. The internet iS MINE!!!

Ok not so drastic, but because I am downloading significantly faster than in Australia (eg. right now, 400kb/sec), I will be downloading a whole HEAP of stuff. Have to get a new hard drive to support my addiction.

This is big news. I can also now get on Bored Aussies and play with you punk freak addicted crafters. I think I've probably lost a fair bit of quality, and all you guys have gotten a thousand times better...so don't be expecting anything great. Not to mention, I've gotta actually try and get connected first.

Anyways, enough about that...it's been a while since I've blogged. And with good reason. Lots to tell, but will tell it in short.
1. I've started another part-time job (2hrs a week) at a kindergarten teaching 3-5yr olds English, with giant picture cards, books and songs. Like Mini Maestros, except they don't understand english that well. So that's looking good, except I have to wake up ridiculously early, then go to work (Nova) straight after.

2. I'm also teaching just four lessons to this person who is going to Sydney to work for a year. Was introduced to her at the church that I've been going to (but not for services, just for fellowship when I can). Taught the second class today, will be teaching her next week as well. Daz, do you know where Chatswood is? She's gonna be staying there...I was thinking of passing you her contact in case you wanna meet up with her and maybe show her around, Hillsong as well...she wants to go to the conference in July. But I know you've got a lot on your mind :) :) :D :D!!

3. I got the internet. But you already knew that.

SHOCK!! VERY BAD!!! Danica's leaving Fungus!! Danica, if you do read this, I wanna say sorry I couldn't be there on your farewell, going to miss you heaps! But hope you're still around so that we can all still see each other. To tell the truth, I don't really know what's happening. But its just real sad coz you're a big part of Fungus and the church, as is your family. Will email ya.

That was a real downer to yesterday actually, after having been out the whole day and then hearing the news from Janice. Sucks. But there was something mildly interesting. We caught some small cheerleader show outside Yokohama station, where I think the Yokohama Bay Stars were playing the Chiba Marines (something like that). Nice cheerleaders. Stanley, here you go...although I couldn't really get that close. And the dudes in the pictures are Ebo (left of ball), Anthony (right of ball), and Geoff and me. Cool mascot. We should get one.

Lastly, I have firmed up everything about going to Singapore. Got my days off, got the flight, got the re-entry permit. I'm coming to Singapore, now I just need a place to stay! :) Bye!
