All about my time here in Japan, as an English teacher working for Nova. First time by myself, second time in a country I can't speak the language of, and third time I've taken my mum's cooking for granted. Actually, probably more than that...:)

Student Stories
One student made up a story about a friend being arrested for murdering elderly people. The lesson topic was Sharing news about friendsAsking for help: One student said "Do you have change for a twenty?", the other replied "Sorry, I am a coin collector." Absolute genius.
A student told me that she heard her neighbour scream. She went to investigate and found it was a snake. She just picked it up and petted it, then let it go.
